Located right here in Port Orange, Riverside Pavilion offers a waterfront setting with indoor and outdoor spaces that can work for all kinds of celebrations.
Before you pick your date and start sending invitations, here are five things to know about hosting your event with us.

1. How Many People Are You Inviting?
First things first, let's talk about your guest list!
Riverside Pavilion can accommodate up to 200 seated guests, depending on how the room is arranged. Whether you're planning a smaller gathering with close family and friends or a larger celebration, there are different ways to set up the space.
Our main banquet room can be arranged with round or rectangular tables, depending on what works best for your event. If you're planning a wedding reception or birthday party with dancing, you'll also want to account for room for a dance floor.
And don't forget about our wrap-around patio! It's a great spot for guests to step outside, catch up, and enjoy the riverfront views.
2. What's Included With Your Rental?
When you're planning an event, those little expenses can add up quickly.
One of the nice things about Riverside Pavilion is that tables, chairs, and their setup are included with your rental. That means one less thing you'll have to coordinate on your own!
We also have additional equipment and amenities that may be available depending on your event needs.
Rental pricing varies based on the date, length of your event, and any additional options you choose. When you reach out, we can go over the details and help you understand what to expect.
It's always helpful to have a general budget in mind, even if you're still figuring out the rest of your plans.
3. How Do You Picture Your Event?
This is one of the fun parts!
Maybe you're picturing a wedding reception with dinner and dancing, a baby shower with a cute photo backdrop and gift table, or a retirement party where everyone can spend the evening catching up.
Our banquet room offers flexibility for different seating arrangements, while the patio provides an outdoor space overlooking the Halifax River.
For weddings, the waterfront also makes a beautiful setting for a ceremony and photos. And if you're hosting a larger event or need a separate area, the Halifax Sport Fishing Club Room may be available to rent for additional space.
If you haven't visited Riverside Pavilion in person yet, we'd definitely recommend scheduling a tour. Pictures are wonderful, but there's something about standing out on the patio and seeing that view for yourself!
4. What About Food and Vendors?
Let's be honest, food is a pretty important part of any good celebration!
Riverside Pavilion welcomes outside caterers, giving you the opportunity to choose food that fits your event and your guests.
Maybe you've already got a favorite local caterer, or you're still looking for someone who can bring your menu ideas to life. Either way, we have a Preferred Vendor List to help you get started.
There are a few catering guidelines and potential fees depending on how food is prepared and served, so it's worth discussing your plans with our team ahead of time.
The same goes for your photographer, DJ, decorator, or bartender. We want you to have the information you need before making those final arrangements.
5. Have You Picked Your Date?
If there's one thing we recommend, it's reaching out as soon as you have a date in mind!
Whether you're planning something several months away or hoping to put together a celebration a little sooner, checking availability is a great place to start.
You'll also want to think about how much time you'll need for decorating, vendor setup, the actual event, and cleanup.
And here's a little Florida tip: if you're planning an event around sunset, keep that in mind when choosing your timeline! The view over the Halifax River is one of the things that makes Riverside Pavilion so special, and it's definitely worth enjoying while you're here.
